Theres not much here other than an empire containing 7 kingdoms which is not all that interesting tbh

Ancient Mech Bodies, technology frozen in stasis long enough to create a culture of "legendary" frames and components (eg ibo 300 yr old gundam frames) frames hold many mysteries even to the mechanics so intimately familiar with their physical bodies

Traditionalist culture, saturated with ceremony, frames are heavily ornamented to convey status, power etc

Technology is tactile and mechanical

Frames though are not simple machines, they have desires, individual pilots will have specific relationships with their frame, they do not speak

Character Archetypes:

• Knight, you are rich enough to own your own frame, powerful enough to choose your own battles, your relationship with your frame is as equals or as your subordinate your frame trembles to life at your command, eager to move under you, it is responsive, well oiled, and gleaming

• Mercenary, you own or are owned by a frame, your battles are chosen by the highest bidder, your relationship with your frame is as equals or your frame has some amount of leverage over you, a contract needs to be fulfilled

• Foot Soldier, the army provided you with a frame, you battles are chosen by the demands of war, you operate within a hierarchy, your frame is not your frame, it is compelled by systems of power operating far above you, it hums to life with strong and uncaring determination

• Scum, you are not a pilot, you are warm flesh in a cockpit to keep the frame running, you have very little agency in this world, your relationship with your frame is catastrophic, with the machine often being physically painful to operate, blood streams off of your hands and pools into the recesses beyond the control panels, the machine shudders to life

• Mechanic, you know the inside of these machines better than you know yourself, you have gotten the closest to the insides of these machines and hold a deep level of respect for them, you plug a foot wide bundle of cables into 30 contact points after wiping grease out of the cockpit
